Expanding Access, Strengthening Unity: The Stratified Subsidization Scheme for NATCON Delegates

ree

In line with UAP’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity, NBD Resolution No. 71 introduces the Proposed Stratified Subsidization Scheme for the National Convention, as highlighted in the attached visual released under UAP’s First 100 Days initiative. The graphic outlines a clear and equitable structure of registration discounts, ensuring that architects from outside Metro Manila—who often face greater travel and logistical burdens—can participate more fully in the annual gathering.

The measure provides a thoughtful, region-based approach:

  • Luzon Delegates (A1a, A1b, A2a, A2b, B4, B5): 20% discount

  • Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, Mindoro, Masbate, Catanduanes Delegates: 50% discount

  • Foreign-Based Architects: Free registration

This progressive system—visually emphasized in the attached poster—reflects UAP’s ongoing mission to empower all members, regardless of origin or distance from the convention venue. By reducing financial barriers and promoting broader representation, the organization reaffirms its commitment to fairness, accessibility, and national unity.

More than just a subsidy, this effort strengthens the shared vision of the United Architects of the Philippines: a community where every delegate is given equal opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the future of the profession. Through this initiative, UAP continues to champion a culture of inclusivity, ensuring that architects from every corner of the country—and beyond—have a rightful seat at the table.
