In a world where challenges test both our craft and our character, one message resonated powerfully throughout the 8th General Membership Meeting—“Kapit lang!” Hold on, persevere, and keep moving forward.
With grateful hearts and immense pride, we celebrate the resounding success of this meaningful gathering—an event that went far beyond engagement and entertainment. It became a space of learning, reflection, and genuine connection, where professionals came together not only to build knowledge, but to uplift one another.
More than discussions on construction, the event opened doors to deeper conversations about life, resilience, and well-being. From enhancing our understanding of structural integrity, health, and safety practices, to confronting the realities of depression, stress, and anxiety, each session reminded us that true building does not end with structures—it begins within ourselves. We are, after all, the very foundations of the spaces we create.
This remarkable experience would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of our esteemed resource speakers—Engr. Precious Mascariña Hernandez, Dr. Novie John B. Palarisan, Ms. Pauline Grace Cadampong, Mr. Ronel B. Dacanay, and Mr. Wayne Armendarez—whose knowledge, passion, and authenticity left a lasting imprint on every participant.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner organizations and distinguished guests, as well as our fellow UAP Chapters across the region and in the Philippines, whose presence strengthened the spirit of unity and collaboration. To our Chapter Founder, Past Presidents, dedicated Board of Directors, and our dynamic hosts, your leadership and commitment continue to inspire and guide the chapter forward. And to every UAP Qatar Chapter member—maraming salamat po for your unwavering support and participation.
As echoed throughout the event, awareness in design and safety must go hand in hand with care for our mental health. It is ever-present—quietly shaping how we think, feel, and build. By nurturing and protecting it, we not only heal ourselves but also contribute to a safer, kinder, and more compassionate world for generations to come.
Indeed, in both our profession and our personal journeys, we are reminded to keep going, to stay grounded, and to never lose hope.
Padayon. Kapit lang.
