PRC Brings Services Closer to OFWs: Foreign Mobile Services Set in Doha, Qatar on July 25–26, 2025

ree

Continuing its mission to reach and serve Filipino professionals abroad, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to conduct its Foreign Mobile Services in Doha, Qatar on July 25–26, 2025, at the Philippine School Doha. This initiative forms part of the “Bagong Bayani ng Mundo – OFW Serbisyo Caravan” spearheaded by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), a multi-agency campaign aimed at providing vital government services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) across the globe.

Following the success of similar services in Phnom Penh, Cambodia earlier this year, as well as in Australia, Thailand, Japan, and the UAE in previous years, the PRC now turns its attention to the growing Filipino professional community in Qatar. In line with this effort, the PRC will offer a range of essential services including:

  • Initial registration;

  • Renewal and duplication of the Professional Identification Card (PIC);

  • Application for licensure examination;

  • Issuance of certifications and authentication of PRC documents;

  • Issuance of Certificate of Good Standing;

  • Applications for Special Temporary Permit (STP), Temporary Training Permit (TTP), and registration under Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA), among others.

A special Oath-Taking Ceremony will also take place ahead of the mobile service, scheduled for July 23, 2025, at the Edgar V. Bondoc Gymnasium, Philippine School Doha, for newly-licensed Filipino professionals.

The PRC encourages all interested participants to secure their transaction in advance via the PRC Licensure Examination & Registration Information System (LERIS) at https://online.prc.gov.ph/, select Region XI – Doha, Qatar as the appointment place, and pay the applicable fees through authorized payment channels.

For further details or assistance, professionals may reach out via email at prcfmsdohaqatar@gmail.com.

This marks another milestone in the PRC’s continued commitment to making professional services accessible and inclusive for Filipinos, no matter where they are in the world.
